Paavo Jarvi win s ECHO Klassik Award
Paavo Jarvi named Conductor of the Year by German Phono Academy
Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra conductor Paavo Jarvi will be honored as Conductor of the Year when he receives the ECHO Klassik Award from the German Phono Academy in Berlin for his recording of Beethoven's Symphony 2 & 6 "Pastoral" - Sony Classical with the Deutsche Kammerphilharmonie Bremen.

The 17th German ECHO Klassik awards will be presented on Oct. 17, 2010 in the Essen (North Rhine-Westphalia) Philharmonic hall.
