2009-2010 Season
The Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra presents its 2009-2010 season, the ninth with Music Director Paavo Järvi. A compelling, critically acclaimed conductor, Järvi leads 12 subscription weeks with 29 concerts. The season brings 11 guest conductors to the podium and features 11 pianists, seven violinists, three cellists, a violist, a bandoneón player and the May Festival Chorus. Fourteen artists make debuts with the orchestra and superstar artists like Lang Lang, Jean-Yves Thibaudet, William Eddins, Janine Jansen,Radu Lupu and Truls Mørk take the Music Hall stage.
