The latest from Anne-Sophie Mutter shines on her hand-picked ensemble Mutter Virtuosi. It spans hundreds of years of music from Bach & Vivaldi to contemporary composers like John Williams and Andre Previn.

Mutter shares the spotlight with rising violinists in multi-soloist works like Vivaldi as well as chamber works by Bach and Previn. But Mutter shines with her own virtuosity in concertos by Bologne, and Bach, plus showpieces by Williams. It’s a well balanced program that is enjoyable and at many times toe tapping!

“Growing up, I’m on the trail of storytellers,” Mutter says of her work with the Virtuosi, a rotating ensemble of current and former Anne-Sophie Mutter Foundation scholarship holders.
